Greetings students and
parents,
I hope you are
enjoying your summer and completing your summer packets. As for our
incoming 6th and 7th, the East Fordham Academy for the Arts, a
school of high expectations, will empower our students to take
ownership of their own learning to become confident young adults
who will demonstrate problem solving and critical
thinking.
Our students will have
opportunities to explore the arts and its cultural significance
while using the arts as a language to express their ideas. Through
these experiences, our students will achieve deep content knowledge
in all subject areas. The East Fordham Academy
for the Arts will provide the skills that our students will need to
enter and excel in competitive high schools, colleges, and
beyond.
Since parental
involvement is a vital part of the school program, I look forward
to partnering with you! At the East Fordham Academy for the Arts
you can expect regular communication which will include: monthly
calendars and principal's breakfasts, newsletters, curriculum and
Music Idol, an art exhibit, and daily updates on our school's
website.
